Andre Wisdom's Porsche 'gets stuck in muddy ditch'

Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom was reportedly forced to abandon his Porsche after it got stuck in a muddy ditch.

The 20-year-old is said to have left his car behind when it submerged into a pit in the woods, three miles away from the nearest main road.

Mountain biker Pete Irons called the police when he discovered the £100,000 Porsche Panamera Turbo 2ft deep in the ditch the next morning.

"We are miles from any main road and the track doesn't go anywhere, it's just mind boggling how he ended up there," the Daily Mail quotes Mr Irons as saying.

"He would have got so muddy trying to escape it too. There was no way he could have got out without getting covered."

Wisdom is currently on loan from Liverpool at Championship side Derby County.
