Liverpool star Raheem Sterling pokes fun at awkward John Terry incident

Liverpool star Raheem Sterling has decided to poke fun at his awkward incident with John Terry during the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final at Anfield on Tuesday night.

The England international become entangled on the pitch with the Chelsea skipper after the winger ran into his opponent, who blocked Sterling's surge towards goal.

A number of images and memes have appeared on social media of the odd incident, and Sterling himself has opted to look at the funny side by posting a photo on Instagram.

The second leg of the semi-final at Stamford Bridge is perfectly poised after Sterling eventually found the back of the net to earn his side a 1-1 draw.
