Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho helps teach schoolchildren French

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho says that it is "fun" for him to help local schoolchildren learn French.

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has been dedicating some of his time to helping the community by visiting schoolchildren at Anfield's All Saints Catholic Primary School.

The 24-year-old took part in a gym lesson with the youngsters, and also helped them learn his native tongue - French.

"Hopefully I can bring happiness to the youngsters at All Saints by playing with them and helping them with their French," Sakho told the Liverpool Echo. "It's fun for me too."

Sakho, who is a volunteer for the Liverpool FC Foundation, also provides support for an orphanage in Senegal.
