Report: Roberto Firmino in Cyprus as Liverpool train in Dubai

Roberto Firmino has seemingly travelled to Cyprus with his wife while the rest of the Liverpool team jetted off to a warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

Jurgen Klopp has taken the majority of his Reds squad for a short break in the United Arab Emirates following the busy Christmas and New Year period.

However, Firmino was pictured on his wife Larissa's Instagram story alongside Allan Rodrigues de Souza - on loan at Apollon Limassol from Liverpool - and his partner.

Other photos on Larissa's social media page included one of a balcony overlooking the sea with the caption "Limassol, Cyprus".

The Football Association is currently making enquiries about an incident involving Firmino and Everton defender Mason Holgate during Friday's FA Cup third-round meeting at Anfield, which finished 2-1 to the Reds.
