Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli supports Down's Syndrome Awareness Week by backing a local charity.

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has given his backing to Down's Syndrome Awareness Week by alerting to a local charity on Facebook.

The Italy international posed for a selfie wearing a green T-shirt that had, 'keep calm it's only an extra chromosome', emblazoned on the front.

On his official Facebook page, Balotelli urged his fans to support Cheshire Down's Syndrome Support Group and donate money to the organisation.

Awareness Week began on Monday and will run until Sunday, March 22.
