Juventus team meet Pope Francis at the Vatican

Juventus manager Antonio Conte and his players visited the Vatican to meet Pope Francis following their Serie A title glory.

Club captain Gianluigi Buffon has revealed that he never expected to see so many Juve supporters during their trip.

"It was a great opportunity and I have to say I didn't expect there to be so many Juventus fans in the Vatican, and by that I mean real fans," the The AP quotes Buffon as saying.

Juventus clinched the Italian title by nine points ahead of Napoli.
