Ipswich Town striker Paul Taylor arrested for involvement in fight

Ipswich Town striker Paul Taylor has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a fight in a local pub last month.

The 25-year-old and a woman, thought to be the forward's girlfriend, were arrested by police in the early hours of October 16, when two people sustained injuries.

A police statement said: "Two male members of staff within the premises were assaulted. One victim suffered a broken rib and the other a fractured eye socket and a broken finger."

The pair have since been released on bail until January 16.
