Ipswich's Mings 'clears mum's debts'

Ipswich Town's Tyrone Mings has posted an Instagram picture suggesting that he has used his footballer's wage to clear his mother's debts.

The 22-year-old posted a Whatsapp conversation in which his mum appeared thrilled that he had 'single-handedly wiped all her debt away for the first time ever in her life'.

This is why I do it, this makes worth it ❤️

Defender Mings, who has been linked with Premier League giants Arsenal, is no stranger to charitable gestures.

In March 2013, Mings gave away two tickets for a home game that Tractor Boys fans on Twitter had said that they were too 'skint' to attend.
