Huddersfield Town's Adam Clayton shaves off beard after raising money for charity

Clayton shaves off fundraising beard

Huddersfield Town midfielder Adam Clayton has shaved off his beard after raising almost £2,000 for charity.

The 25-year-old began growing his beard in November in order to benefit the Huddersfield Town Foundation.

For the Terriers' final home game of the season on Saturday, which ended in a 2-0 defeat to Leicester City, Clayton dyed his beard blue and white to match the team's colours.

However, after the match, the midfielder opted to go clean-shaven, but continues to raise money for the foundation with his Just Giving online page.
