Mbappe 'to donate match fees to charity'

France forward Kylian Mbappe will reportedly donate his match fees from the World Cup to charity.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker allegedly pockets £17,000 per game at the tournament, with bonuses increasing his pay packet if Les Bleus advance through the knockout stages.

According to L'Equipe, the 19-year-old feels that he should not be paid for representing his country, and has decided to give the money to the Preiers de Cordees association, which organises sports activities for children with disabilities.

The news outlet says that Mbappe's actions have also convinced his fellow countrymen to follow suit after the World Cup.

The striker's only goal at the tournament was the winner in a 1-0 victory over Peru.
