Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard 'trains as tattoo artist'

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has shown that he is learning how to ink tattoos in his spare time.

The USA international is no stranger to a tattoo parlour, having frequented a few in his time to build up the large collection of art on his body.

On Monday, two days after Everton salvaged a 2-2 draw against Watford on the opening day of the Premier League season, Howard appeared to visit some tattoo artists.

The American shot-stopper tweeted a photo of himself using a tattoo needle to create a design on someone's ankle.

The 36-year-old accompanied the image with the words: "#Hobbies #InkGang #ThanksSam"
