Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard backs PETA animal rights campaign

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard reveals that protecting animals is "very important" to him as the goalkeeper backs PETA's 'Ink, Not Mink' campaign.

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has given his backing to PETA's latest animal rights campaign 'Ink, Not Mink'.

The USA international has shown off his numerous tattoos by posing shirtless for the campaign.

"Protecting animals is very important to me, and I think speaking out against fur is an amazing cause," Howard is quoted as saying on the organisation's website.

"When I see someone wearing fur, I just want to sit them down in front of one of PETA's videos and show them just how badly animals suffer for this supposed fabric that no one needs."

Everton are currently fifth in the Premier League table on 69 points with one game left to play.
