Video: England captain Steven Gerrard melts in Lucozade ad

England captain Steven Gerrard has highlighted the soaring temperatures in Brazil by 'melting' in an advert for Lucozade Sport.

The Liverpool midfielder, who turns 34 today, took part in the short film titled 'Lucozade Sport Conditions Zone: The Heat' ahead of next month's World Cup.

In the advert, Gerrard, who could face humidity of up to 48% in South America, begins to melt into the ground with the use of CGI effects and 3D body scanning technology.

The piece is narrated by Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch.
