England cricket fan Chris Newell has taken home £50,000 after completing a stumps challenge at Trent Bridge yesterday.
The 50-year-old Yorkshireman took on the task during the third one-day international between England and New Zealand, which the hosts won by 34 runs.
Newell successfully hit three stumps, then two, and then a single stump with just three balls to clinch the cash prize.
