Graeme Swann joins BBC punditry team for West Indies tour

The BBC have announced that former England bowler Graeme Swann has joined the Test Match Special team for England's one-day tour of the West Indies.

The 34-year-old spinner announced his retirement midway through the nation's 5-0 Ashes whitewash defeat to Australia in December.

"I grew up listening to Test Match Special, it's an honour to have a chance to work with the team," Swann told BBC Sport.

Head of BBC sports news and radio sport Richard Burgess added: "We're delighted that Graeme is joining the Test Match Special team in the West Indies.

"After so recently leaving the England set-up, Graeme will bring genuine insight to the audience, analysis of the game as well as his trademark sense of humour."

Swann will be joined by Sir Viv Richards, Tony Cozier, Simon Mann, Derek Pringle and Kevin Howells throughout the coverage.
