England's Ben Stokes, Joe Root wear fancy dress for quiz in Spain

England all-rounder Ben Stokes has shared a photo of himself and teammate Joe Root wearing fancy dress for a quiz night in Spain.

The duo are with their England teammates on the bonding trip, which has been organised by new head coach Trevor Bayliss.

On Instagram, Stokes posted a photo of himself dressed in a basketball shirt and cargo shorts with a gold chain, baseball cap and sunglasses, which he described as a "Brit abroad".

Root donned a matador costume, while coach Chris Taylor dressed up as late Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros.

Alongside the photo, Stokes wrote: "As quizmaster's of the quiz in Spain we had to dress up...Joe Root/Matador..Chris Taylor/Seve and My Self/Brit Abroad."

The team are gearing up for the Ashes series against Australia, which gets underway next Wednesday.
