Steven Finn promised bottles of wine by England teammates

England bowler Steven Finn has revealed that his teammates promised to buy him bottles of wine if he proves himself with the bat.

The 23-year-old has already picked up four cases of wine from captain Alastair Cook and James Anderson following his stint at the crease during England's opening Test match against New Zealand.

"Cooky and Jimmy said they'd give me a case of wine each for every session I stayed in," The Sun quotes Finn as saying. "I managed to make it to lunch and then tea, so that's four cases being sent to my house back in England."

England drew the first Test with help of an innings of 56 from Finn.
