FA won't sell Wembley naming rights

The Football Association have ruled out selling the naming rights to Wembley Stadium as part of any sponsorship agreement.

Talks are ongoing with several commercial partners as the FA look to maximise revenue from the home of English football.

However, altering the name to include that of the sponsor, as Arsenal and Stoke City have done with their respective grounds, is not believed to be an option.

The Gunners' new Emirates Stadium is named such due to their partnership with the airline, while the same situation applies with Stoke and the Britannia Stadium.

Wembley is lined up to host the Champions League final and a regular-season NFL fixture during the next year.
