Australian newspaper 'Brisbane Courier-Mail' backtracks on Stuart Broad ban?

An Australian newspaper appears to have backtracked on its decision to ban Stuart Broad's name from the publication during the first Ashes Test.

Australian newspaper the Brisbane Courier-Mail appears to have backtracked on it decision to ban Stuart Broad's name from their publication during the Ashes series.

The newspaper ran a story on the front page on Wednesday claiming that they would not use the England bowler's name in their reports of the first Test in a bid to "mess with his head".

However, an online report of the opening day in Brisbane, where Broad took five wickets as Australia closed on 273-8, named the England star.

Broad has been subjected to criticism from the Australian press and the fans since he failed to walk during the Ashes series in the summer.
