Every club in the Premier League will give away free tickets to men and women in the armed forces this weekend.
Each match in the top flight, including Saturday's showdown between Liverpool and Chelsea at Anfield, will have seats reserved as part of the Tickets for Troops initiative.
The project was launched in 2009, but every top-flight club is involved this weekend to mark the centenary of the First World War.
"It's great that the Premier League has encouraged all the clubs to support this initiative," the Daily Star quotes Chelsea captain John Terry as saying.
"At Chelsea, we have been providing 50 tickets for every home game at Stamford Bridge for five years. Although it's a very simple gesture, it goes some way to showing our admiration and respect for these incredibly brave men and women."
Terry and teammate Gary Cahill joined members of the RAF to promote the ticket initiative this week.
