Roman Abramovich's spokesman denies US arrest

Abramovich's arrest "completely untrue"

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has not been arrested in the United States, according to his press secretary John Mann.

Reports in Russia emerged today claiming that the 46-year-old had been detained by the FBI for questioning.

Despite Mann confirming that Abramovich is in the US, he has labelled the reports of his arrest as "completely untrue", according to IBTimes.

Last year, the Russian tycoon was locked in a legal battle with former business partner Boris Beresovsky, who was found dead at his home on Saturday.
