Watt cleans 100 seats for Player Pledge

Charlton Athletic forward Tony Watt was forced to clean 100 seats at The Valley after accepting his Player Pledge Challenge.

The 21-year-old is the sixth Addicks player after Johnnie Jackson, Jordan Cousins, Patrick Bauer, Simon Makienok and El Hadji Ba to get involved in the initiative.

The Championship outfit have been ordering players to carry out pledges for every 100 season tickets sold, and now the club are just 100 tickets away from reaching their 10,000 target.

This week, Watt, armed with a bucket and sponge, washed down 100 seats at their home stadium.

Once the sales target is reached, a challenge with a twist will be carried out by staff and players.
