Celtic's Champions League third-round qualifying decider with Elfsborg will be televised in the United Kingdom, after BBC Scotland agreed a broadcast deal this afternoon.

BBC Scotland have confirmed that they will show the second leg of Celtic's Champions League qualifier with Swedish side Elfsborg.

The Scottish champions will host Elfsborg at Celtic Park in the first leg of their third qualifying round tie next Wednesday, with the return leg to be held one week later.

A decisive second leg will be broadcast live by both BBC Scotland and the BBC Sport website on August 7, with a kickoff time of 6.45pm.

Neil Lennon's side are hoping to repeat last season's run in Europe's elite club competition that saw the Hoops beat Barcelona before falling to Juventus in the last 16.

Celtic secured a two-legged tie with Elfsborg by beating Cliftonville 5-0 on aggregate, which was wrapped up with a 2-0 home win against the Northern Irish part-timers on Wednesday.
