Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan buys £190,000 racehorse

Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has reportedly bought his first racehorse in Europe for £190,000.

Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has switched his attention to British horse racing by purchasing a £190,000 colt.

The two-year-old horse will be trained in Wiltshire by Jeremy Gask after the Malaysian businessman completed the purchase at the Doncaster Bloodstock Breeze-Up Sales on Thursday.

"We are very excited, and pleased to have Mr Tan involved," Gask's business partner Eamonn Wilmott told BBC Sport. "The horse looks exceptional and dominated the parade rings outside the sales."

The horse, which is unnamed, is said to be Tan's first racehorse in Europe.
