Two wrestlers competing for Cameroon in the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Scotland have gone missing in Aberdeen.

Two members of Cameroon's Commonwealth Games team have gone missing from their training camp.

The wrestlers, who are aged 26 and 31, were reported missing from their base in Aberdeen less than a week before the Games get underway.

Police Scotland said that the pair were last seen at the Hillhead Halls of Residence in the city at 8.30pm on Sunday, and were reported missing on Tuesday evening.

Seven Cameroonian athletes disappeared in August 2012 while in Britain for the Olympics.
