Video: Brazil's football stars get pumped up watching UFC bout

Brazil's football stars cheer on a fellow countryman in a UFC bout in Las Vegas via their base at the World Cup.

Ahead of Tuesday's World Cup semi-final against Germany, Brazil's players switched their attention to UFC to cheer on a fellow countryman.

The group of players, including David Luiz and goalkeeper Julio Cesar, watched Lyoto Machida take on American Chris Weidman in Las Vegas via a big screen in their homeland.

Machida, who won four of his last five fights, ended up losing to the unbeaten Weidman after five rounds.

During the bout, captain Thiago Silva, who is suspended for the semi-final, filmed the players getting pumped up while watching the action, and posted the video to his Instagram page.
