Lionel Messi posts picture of Dani Alves's teddy bear trainers

Barcelona star Lionel Messi appears to have taken an interest in teammate Dani Alves's new teddy bear trainers as he has posted a photo of the footwear on Instagram.

The four-time Ballon d'Or winner didn't name his teammate, but instead asked his social media followers to guess who owned the glittery gold shoes.

However, it became clear that the unusual trainers belonged to Alves, whose long-term future at the Camp Nou remains uncertain.

The Brazilian's current contract with the Spanish giants expires at the end of the season.
