Federer hails Messi's humility

Tennis player Roger Federer has said that Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has proved that sportsmen need not be arrogant to be successful

The 31-year-old Swiss also claims that there is more to come from both of them in their respective sports.

"Messi and I showed that [despite] being good guys we can be successful," he told Ole. "And, along the way, we can enjoy life more.

"You cannot compare [me to Messi and Diego Maradona], but I am grateful and proud that I am included in that lot.

"Maradona, for his personality and how he played, has a great place in history. Messi and I are in a situation more like, we have done things, but we still have some more to do."

Federer is currently ranked number two in the world.
