Aston Villa announce partnership with betting company William Hill

Aston Villa have announced that they have secured a partnership deal with betting company William Hill Online.

The bookmaker is now the Premier League outfit's new official UK and Ireland betting partner.

Villa acting chief executive Robin Russell told the club's official website: "We are delighted to add William Hill to our growing number of official partners.

"William Hill has been one of the leading brands in bookmaking for many years and the company has enjoyed a long and successful association with football, too. We look forward to an exciting and productive partnership with them."

Villa began the new season with a 1-0 victory over Stoke City at the Britannia on Saturday.
