Scott Sinclair, Helen Flanagan become parents to baby girl Matilda Jessica

Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair and partner Helen Flanagan have become parents to a baby girl.

The first-time mother and father took to Instagram to announce the news and confirm that their child has been named Matilda Jessica Sinclair.

The former Manchester City footballer shared a photo of the family, with the caption: "Best day of my life welcome to the world Matilda Jessica Sinclair."

The couple, who waited until the birth to discover the sex of their child, have been in a relationship for six years.
