Darren Bent takes new wife to Barbados on honeymoon

Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has taken his new bride Kirsty MacLaren on honeymoon to Barbados.

The couple got married over the weekend in a ceremony at Ely Cathedral in Cambridge in front of 200 guests, according to the Daily Mail.

Just a few days later, the newlyweds were spotted on the beach in the Caribbean island setting themselves up for a ride on a jet ski.

Bent's club future remains uncertain following rumours that Newcastle United are interested in his services.
