Video: Golfer Ian Poulter stars in Puma's Arsenal ad

Ian Poulter joins forces with Arsenal supporters in a new Puma ad ahead of this week's Open Championship in Liverpool.

English golfer and Arsenal fan Ian Poulter has starred in an advert for Puma as they celebrate their new partnership with the Premier League club.

The global sportswear brand have officially become the Gunners' kit supplier in a long-term deal, which is said to be worth £150m.

In a new advert, Poulter is followed by a hoard of Arsenal supporters chanting his name during a round of golf, much to the annoyance of his fellow professionals.

Ex-Arsenal star Freddie Ljungberg also makes an appearance as a caddie for Poulter, who is preparing for this week's Open Championship in Liverpool.

Alongside the YouTube clip, Puma added the description: "When a Gooner needs support, he need look no further than his fellow Gooners. Pro golfer Ian Poulter gets a little help from his friends as he prepares for this week's major in Liverpool. #StrongerTogether."
