Arsenal's Lukas Podolski gets Michael Schumacher tribute on boots

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has paid tribute to stricken Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher by getting a tribute etched onto his boots.

The seven-time F1 champion has been in an induced coma at the University Hospital in Grenoble since hitting his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps on December 29.

The sportsman's fellow German Podolski has added to the constant well-wishes by having 'kampfe michael #getwellsoon' stitched onto his new Adidas boots.

The 28-year-old is likely to debut his new footwear during tomorrow night's clash against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.
