Arsenal star Mesut Ozil was reportedly seen at a nightclub in Berlin on the day that he missed his side's match against Newcastle United.

The German World Cup winner was not part of the squad that sealed a 2-1 win over the Magpies last Saturday due to illness.

However, according to Bild, Ozil was spotted socialising at an anniversary event being held at The Pearl nightclub just hours after the match.

Reports have claimed that Arsenal will discuss the situation with Ozil, who is currently with his national team ahead of their friendly against Australia on Wednesday.
