Arsenal fans sang vile Adebayor chant?

Arsenal supporters reportedly made reference to Emmanuel Adebayor's national team Togo, who were the victims of a shooting while in a team bus during the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, throughout yesterday's North London derby.

The 29-year-old, who left Arsenal in 2010 for Manchester City and later signed for Gunners rivals Spurs, is thought to have been the subject of vile chants during Tottenham's 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane.

A selection of Arsenal fans were heard singing, "Shot in Angola, it should have been you," according to the Daily Mail.

Fan were also thought to have thrown a banana at Gareth Bale while the winger was lining up to take a corner.
