Canada coach hails "special" win in Sochi final

The coach of the Canadian women's ice hockey team, Kevin Dineen, says that it feels "great" to have won gold at the Sochi Games.

Canadian women's ice hockey team coach Kevin Dineen has hailed his side's "special" victory over the USA in the final at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The Canadians came from 2-0 down to defeat their opponents 3-2 in overtime in Sochi on Thursday.

"For us, it's just a great feeling," The AP quotes the 50-year-old as saying.

"And for me, it's even more special because it's the first one."

Switzerland won the bronze medal by defeating Sweden 4-3.
