Louis Smith will represent Great Britain for the first time since the London 2012 Olympics after being named in the squad for the European Championships in Montpellier.

Louis Smith has returned to the Great Britain squad for the first time since the London 2012 Olympics for this month's European Championships.

The 25-year-old gymnast, who won two golds and two bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games last year, is one of six members in the men's squad.

Max Whitlock, Kristian Thomas, Sam Oldham, Dan Purvis and Courtney Tulloch make up the rest of the team, while 17-year-old Claudia Fragapane is one of four in the women's squad.

Amy Tinkler, who scooped the all-around British title last month, will make her senior international debut in Montpellier.

The tournament gets underway on April 15.
