Andrew Svoboda, Will MacKenzie share lead in Georgia

Andrew Svoboda and Will MacKenzie share the lead at the McGladrey Classic on 12-under-par heading into the final day in Georgia.

Andrew Svoboda and Will MacKenzie have finished day three at the McGladrey Classic with a share of the lead on 12-under-par ahead of the final round in Georgia.

MacKenzie battled his way into contention after an impressive front nine that included two birdies and even a hole-in-one on the par-three sixth en route to carding a 65.

Svoboda, meanwhile, sank three birdies in the first nine holes before suffering a setback that could prove costly by the end of play tomorrow.

The American endured a disastrous 11th hole and carded a double-bogey, but fought back with four pars and three birdies in the remaining holes to finish on 66 for the third straight day.

The pair sit one stroke clear of Russell Henley, who failed to reproduce his 63 on day two and finished Saturday's session with a 68.

Meanwhile, there is a five-way tie for third place heading into day four, with Stewart Cink, Andrew Putnam, Chris Kirk, Fabian Gomez and Brendon de Jonge all on nine under.
