Jon Rahm has taken a one-shot lead in the Quicken Loans National after carding a seven-under-par 64 round on day one of the tournament.
The 21-year-old Spaniard had a blemish-free round as he scored seven birdies on the course in Bethesda.
Jhonattan Vegas is the closest challenger to Rahm having carded a six-under 65, with seven birdies and just the one bogey, which he scored on the second hole.
There are eight players, including Bill Haas and Ernie Els, who sit two shots off the pace.
