England's Ian Poulter sits two shots off the lead at the midway point of the Crowne Plaza Invitational.

Ian Poulter has remained in contention at the Crowne Plaza Invitational after recording a second-round 67 in Texas.

The world number 31 followed up his 65 on Thursday with six birdies to reach the midway stage two shots adrift of leader Kevin Na.

First-round leader Boo Weekley is three shots off the pace after a round of 69, while George McNeill and Brian Harman are in a tie for fourth place.

Scotland's Martin Laird finds himself in 15th position, but Adam Scott will be delighted with 25th spot after shooting a score of 66 to move 61 places up the leaderboard.
