Dustin Johnson maintains lead at Tour Championship

World number two Dustin Johnson remains at the top of the Tour Championship leaderboard after shooting a second-round 67 in Atlanta.

Dustin Johnson has reached the halfway stage of the Tour Championship with a one-shot lead over the rest of the field.

The world number two will win the Fedex Cup should he emerge victorious in Atlanta, and he remains in control of the tournament after shooting a second-round 67.

American compatriot Kevin Chappell dropped behind Johnson in the standings but he is just one shot adrift as the final PGA Tour event of the season enters the weekend.

Kevin Kisner and Hideki Matsuyama hold a share of third position but sit four shots behind Johnson, while Rory McIlroy and Paul Casey are in a tie for fifth.

Jordan Spieth is 11th but world number one Jason Day has withdrawn from the tournament with a back injury.
