Paul Casey one shot off lead at CIMB Classic

Paul Casey is one shot off the lead at the CIMB Classic after the Englishman posted an opening-round 65 in Kuala Lumpur.

The 39-year-old, who has not triumphed on the PGA Tour since 2009, birdied four of his final five holes to keep in touch with Americans Justin Thomas, Derek Fathauer and Keegan Bradley, who currently lead the way.

Anirban Lahiri currently sits two strikes off the pace after finishing with a six-under 66, while Sergio Garcia is part of the four-man group one shot back after a solid start from the 36-year-old Spaniard.

England's Ian Poulter, who is back from a foot injury, carded a 71 and sits one stroke behind Scotland's Russell Knox.
