Rafa Cabrera-Bello retains lead in Germany

World number 96 Rafa Cabrera-Bello holds a one-shot lead at the midway point of the BMW International Open in Germany.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello has recorded a second-round 67 to hold a narrow advantage at the midway point of the BMW International Open.

The world number 96 followed up Thursday's 65 with six birdies to hold a one-shot lead over England's James Morrison.

Northern Ireland's Michael Hoey and Denmark's Lasse Jensen sit in a tie for third spot, while Thongchai Jaidee is a shot further adrift in fifth place.

World number seven Henrik Stenson is six shots off the pace after registering a round of 71 on Friday.
