Bradley Dredge one ahead after Russian Open second round

Bradley Dredge takes Russian Open lead

Welshman Bradley Dredge has taken a one-shot lead going into the weekend at the M2M Russian Open thanks to a second-round 66.

The 42-year-old, who is without a win on the European Tour for nine years, carded five birdies and no bogeys today to emulate his score from the opening round yesterday.

He is one shot clear of England's Lee Slattery (67), while overnight leader Daniel Gaunt is a further shot back after a round of 69 today.

Scott Jamieson shared the lead with Gaunt going into the second round, but a level-par 71 means that he is four back ahead of the third round.
