Woods wins Farmers Insurance Open

Tiger Woods has won the Farmers Insurance Open by four shots at Torrey Pines.

The former world number one headed into the remainder of the final round of the tournament on Monday with a six-shot lead, but appeared to struggle when he bogeyed 14 and double-bogeyed 15 to see his advantage reduced to five shots.

The 37-year-old dropped another shot on the 17th and missed a 15ft birdie putt on the last, but his level-par 72 proved enough to bag him his 75th victory on the PGA Tour.

"It got a little ugly towards the end," said Woods after the victory. "I just lost my patience and concentration a little bit."

Brandt Snedeker and Josh Teater finished tied on second place, four shots behind Woods at 10-under par.
