Woods wins Chevron World Challenge

Tiger Woods has won his first title in over two years by claiming the Chevron World Challenge at Thousand Oaks, California.

The American had started the day one shot behind leader Zac Johnson.

However, the former world number one birdied the final two holes to end the tournament on shot ahead of Johnson on 10-under.

"It feels great," he said afterwards. "It was a lot of fun coming down the stretch. Zach put a lot of pressure on me. He turned the tide [on 16], next thing I am one down playing the last couple of holes. Then I made two good putts."

The win was the 35-year-old's first triumph since the 2009 Australian Masters.
