Watson, Jones hold advantage at Phoenix Open

Bubba Watson has recorded a second-round 66 to maintain his lead at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The 2012 Masters champion ended Thursday's play as co-leader, and that continued after the second round as he posted a score of 66 to head the field by two shots alongside Matt Jones.

The Australian carded his second successive 65 to hold an advantage over nearest challengers Greg Chalmers and Harris English, both of whom recorded scores of 67 to end the day on 10-under-par.

Japan's Hideki Matsuyama is one of three players a shot further adrift on nine-under, while Brandt Snedeker produced a faultless round of 64 to move into contention at eight-under.

Scotland's Martin Laird heads the European contingent on seven-under, with Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts two behind on five-under.
