Andrew Dodt wins Thailand Classic by one shot

Australia's Andrew Dodt wins the inaugural Thailand Classic by one shot following a five-under-par round of 67 on the final day of the tournament.

A strong fourth round from Andrew Dodt handed the Australian his second title on the European Tour with a one-shot victory at the inaugural Thailand Classic.

The 29-year-old completed the course in Hua Hin with a five-under-par 67 for the third day in a row, leaving him 16 under across the tournament.

Overnight leader Scott Hend finished one shot back after going round in par on day four, ensuring that he finished level with Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee.

Canada's Richard T Lee came back into contention late on with a six-under round, but his 73 on Saturday left him just outside the top three.

Miguel Angel Jiminez had sat second at the start of the day, but he was a shot over on his final round to slip down to joint seventh in the final standings.
