Bubba Watson wins Northern Trust Open

Bubba Watson has secured his first win since the 2012 Masters at Augusta with a two-shot victory at the Northern Trust Open.

The left-hander, who shot a seven-under 64 for 15 under, was able to overtake William McGirt, who entered the final round with a two-shot lead.

Watson had started the day four behind McGirt, but he can now celebrate a long-awaited triumph.

Dustin Johnson took second place with 66, while Brian Harman (68) and Jason Allred (68) were joint-third.
