Daniel Berger claims first PGA Tour title by winning FedEx St Jude Classic

Berger wins first PGA Tour title at FedEx Classic

Daniel Berger sealed his first PGA Tour title by winning a rain-affected FedEx St Jude Classic on Sunday.

The 23-year-old took home the trophy with a three-shot advantage after shooting 13-under-par for the tournament following a three-hour rain delay in Memphis.

Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka and Steve Stricker were in contention for the title on the final day, but Berger hit a three-under 69, which included five birdies, to take top spot.

Koepka hit a 66 in the final round, while Mickelson and Stricker shot 67s as all three competitors finished tied-second in the field.
